University Transition Opportunities
Freshman Seminars
Incoming freshmen are encouraged to enroll in a
Freshman Seminar
for the fall semester of their first year. Freshman Seminars, typically
offered for three credits and graded on an A-F scale, are designed to
assist you with your successful transition to UNC Charlotte. Limited to 25
students each, these seminars provide you with the opportunity to get to
know your peers and instructor well. Learn more about these Freshman
Seminars by clicking on the link above. You can also visit the
University College for information about a new
program for Fall 2008 in which Freshman Seminar sections are linked to
another course.
Students Obtaining
Success Peer Mentoring Program
Students Obtaining Success
is a program for students on academic probation at UNC Charlotte. We
realize that poor academic performance can have many different causes.
This program is designed to help you personally identify those reasons and
develop an action plan to improve your grades and return to good academic
